ABSTRACT

This monograph has objective generally trace a historical of the Brazilian television and global. Since its creation to the deployment of digital TV in Brazil and Paraíba, making techniques and clear explanations about the deployment of digital TV in Brazil. Clarifying the general public what this new medium will bring in changes of interactivity between viewer and media communication. This work explain the changes in transmission, interactivity, quality images this transition from analog TV to digital TV, demonstrating the elements that are involved in the deployment of digital TV, and show how the digital TV could be a valuable opportunity for the democratization of media in the country.
