O presente trabalho abordou a importância da Literatura Infantil como ferramenta no desenvolvimento da leitura e da escrita tendo como entrevistado os professores para verificar a importância da literatura infantil como desenvolvimento da leitura e da escrita da criança na Escola Vida e Esperança no Município de Peixoto de Azevedo no ano de 2017. Onde a metodologia foi utilizada como forma de abordagem do tipo quanti-qualitativa, assim, foi necessárioutilização de um questionário contendo 13 questões, e o questionário continhaquestões abertas e fechadas onde foram entrevistados os professores para dá veracidade. Após analisar e discutir os dados obtidos pela pesquisa de campo foi feito a tabulação e em seguida os gráficos foram possíveis constatar que a Literatura Infantil abre um leque de possibilidades de trabalho por parte do professor a fim de desenvolver a aprendizagem do aluno, ampliando suas capacidades cognitivas e intelectuais. Por fim, cabe ao professor escolher que tipo de profissional ele deseja ser: após a realização da pesquisa o que se pode perceber é que o professor deve estimula a aprendizagem dos alunos através da leitura e da escrita dos seus alunos através da literatura como forma de desenvolvimento dos alunos.

The present work addressed the importance of Child Literature as a tool in the development of reading and writing and interviewed teachers to verify the importance of children's literature as development of reading and writing of the child in the School Life and Hope in the Municipality of Peixoto de Azevedo In the year 2017. Where the methodology was used as a quantitative-qualitative type of approach, it was necessary to use a questionnaire containing 13 questions, and the questionnaire contained open and closed questions where the teachers were interviewed to give veracity. After analyzing and discussing the data obtained by the field research the tabulation was done and then the graphs were possible to verify that the Children's Literature opens a range of possibilities of work on the part of the teacher in order to develop the learning of the student, expanding his capacities Cognitive and intellectual. Finally, it is up to the teacher to choose what kind of professional he wants to be: after the research, what can be perceived is that the teacher should stimulate the students' learning through the reading and writing of their students through literature as a way of Development.
