ABSTRACT

This work aims to study the RER (Rural Environmental Register). It is proposed to approach the development of a historical - organizational bibliographic study presenting the context of the situations that gave origin to the RER, the experiences in the prevention and combat to the deforestation and the support to the environmental regularization of rural properties that served as basis for the evolution of the RER And the consolidation of RER, in the national scenario, with the supervenience of Law 12,651 / 2012, illustrating, in this sense, the main results obtained, focusing on the RER, challenges and difficulties faced beyond the circumstances and methodologies used in the planning or execution of these programs Or policies. Finally, the definition, structure and arrangements that are being set up to give effectiveness to the RER and enable its implementation by the Union, States and Municipalities is outlined in general terms.
