ABSTRACT

Introduction - Sex education seeks to teach and clarify issues related to sex, free from prejudice and taboos. Formerly and still today, talking about sex causes certain constraints in some people, but the issue is extremely important because it answers questions about condoms, STDs, male and female body, contraception and pregnancy. Similarly, it is understood that art can come to exercise this link in a broader way education process and build on young people aspects of a felt experience and not only imagined abstractly, made possible by the theatrical workshops. Objective - to ensure that the arts workshops are a good teaching and learning tool for addressing the themes focused on sex education. Methodology - conducted a qualitative research, along the lines of action research. Held 19 meetings between February and June 2016, it was used questionnaire and participatory and observational workshops to obtain data for the study. Results - It can be seen that among the hits of the questionnaires and post workshops, in general, tend to improve the fixing of information primarily from conversations and experiences provided on different dates. An important aspect is the time factor of implementation of workshops, whereas some participants need more time and greater familiarity with issues related to sexuality. This is due to the fact that some of the participants have difficulty talking about their doubts. The family environment also influences in this regard, especially when it falls on religious taboos which inhibits teens to put your questions and discussion needs about sexuality that is in development. Final thoughts - Finally the study allowed the understanding that if the body's own knowledge makes necessary so that they can understand the changes that occur in themselves and colleagues, during the stages of adolescence and that the actions taken require responsibilities which directly affect the need to understand the future of planning and inevitably family planning. Although we have described proposals by the Ministry of Education to suggest the use of workshops as a way to work cross-cutting issues The Education professionals have no space, time and encouragement to build this type of proposal.
