ABSTRACT

The erosion is one of the causes of degradation of ground, today very frequent and associated to the interference of the man in the environment. The erosion is about a complex process and that it presents distinct phrases: the removal, the transport and deposition of sediments of the ground. This process has as many how many antrópicas natural origins. However this last one has been frequent mainly in the urban áreas. In such a way the present work has as subject? the erosion of the ground and processes associates in the Ambient Park Poti I (Teresina-PI)?, having as objective generality to diagnosis the factors that comes to influence in the erosion of the park. The specific objectives are, in turn, the following ones: to identify the causes of erosion in the related park, to verify that measured they are being taken for the conservation of the ground in the study area and to prsent suggestions to attenuate the erosive process in the park. To reach the objectives of this work if it searched to carry through a theoretical summary briefing in order to understand the condicionantes for the occurrence of the erosion and its consequences, that it encloses since the reduction of the agricultural production, lesser covering of the ground, reductio of the organic substance and physical degradation, chemical and biological of the ground. Of form to analyze the perception that the community of the area has concerning the subject interviews had been applied still structuralized where it consists of making a series of questions followed of a script preset with the in habitants who in habit next to the park and responsible administration for the related park of the same. Later the gotten data had been analyze and interpreted and are presented in in this work.
